
Natural Sugarless Chocolates

Equipment
- Sauce pan
- Mixing bowl
- Pestle and mortar
- Chocolate moulds
Ingredients
- 120 g Organic cacao butter Cold pressed and unrefined
- 30 g Organic coconut butter Cold pressed and unrefined
- 30 g Organic carob powder
- 10 g Organic cacao powder
- 40 g Organic lucuma powder
Instructions
- Mix together all of the dry powders in a bowl (carob, cacao and lucuma).
- With a pestle and mortar grind the powders down to as fine as you can make them, to ensure the chocolates has a smooth texture without feeling powdery. If you do not have a pestle and mortar this step can be skipped but the end chocolates may not feel as luxurious. Alternately an electric blender can be used to refine the powders.
- In a sauce pan or using a double boiler system, melt the cacao and coconut butters together.
- Add the melter butters to the combined powders and mix together throughly, until smooth.
- To create added smoothness continues to grind down the mixture with the pestle and mortar to ensure all lumps are removed.
- Add the liquid chocolate to the moulds and place in the fridge to chill for around 30 minutes.
- Now the chocolates are made and solidifying, it is time to lick the bowl!
